Essex County Courthouse BAS Renewal

The Essex County Courthouse in Windsor had an existing operating system for the BAS which
was soon to be unsupported. Our scope of work was to provide an upgrade to the current platform to ensure the BAS had broad support and would be capable of much more complex integration and control routines. As this facility was a constant source of complaints for thermal comfort and indoor air quality, an HVAC and Indoor Air Quality Investigation was conducted prior to our assignment. The design solution included retro-commissioning of the existing controls, update the system graphics, adding control points and operator overrides. Retro-commissioning included examination of central equipment, all terminal units, and components such as sensors and actuators. The graphics update would ensure that all points were properly displayed. Total size 47,000 sq ft.
