Building Services Engineering Commissioning is the process of ensuring that all mechanical and electrical systems in a building are designed, installed, tested, and operating according to the required standards and the client’s expectations.
It takes place toward the final stages of construction, but it also involves planning from the design phase. The goal is to make sure that systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire protection all function correctly, efficiently, and safely before the building is handed over for use.
